OnePlus 13T: a compact smartphone that promises XXL autonomy

A time mentioned under the name OnePlus 13 Minithe OnePlus 13T is becoming clearer, and seems to be a reduced version of OnePlus 13. While the latter offers a large screen of a 6.82 inch diagonal, the 13T would be satisfied with a more handy format of 6.3 inches. A more reasonable size, ideal for those looking for a powerful smartphone but easy to use with one hand.

Despite a more compact format than the current average, OnePlus would have made no compromise on its technical sheet.

High -end characteristics

According to several leaks from China, the OnePlus 13T would be equipped with an OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and a fluid cooling rate of 120 Hz, ideal for web browsing and multimedia.

Under the hood, it would embark the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, one of the most powerful processors on the market, which is found in the most efficient Android smartphones of the moment. This choice guarantees great responsiveness, whether for games, applications or multitasking.

Among the other possible specificities, there is the presence of an optical fingerprint sensor under the screen instead of the ultrasonic reader of the OnePlus 13, and a premium design with a metal chassis and a glass back.

Amazing autonomy for its size

According to the Digital Chat Station informant on the Chinese social network Weiboone of the most surprising points would concern the battery: the OnePlus 13T would be equipped with a battery of 6200 mAh, more than that of the OnePlus 13, however larger. A notable technical advance for a device of this template, which could be linked to Glacier Battery technologymentioned by this same source in the past.

The recharging would be fast, but slightly below the standard model, with a power announced at 80 W against 100 W for the OnePlus 13.

A promising component

The photo part is still unclear, several sources evoking different configurations. This seems to be unanimous: a main sensor of 50 megapixels with optical stabilization (OIS), accompanied by a 50 MP telephoto with X2 optical zoom. Some also evoke an ultra-angle of 8 Mpx, but this information remains marginal for the moment.

If the launch in China seems to be confirmed for the month of April 2025, OnePlus has not yet formalized the exit from 13T internationally. However, as with other models of the brand, a global deployment shortly after remains very likely, and we look forward to taking it in hand.
