Orange and Sosh subscribers, forget about support on X to resolve your problems

Today, to contact an operator in order to obtain assistance, the possibilities are, if not always fast or efficient, multiple: forums, chatbots, email, telephone or even social networks. In the case of this last solution, if you used to contact Orange or Sosh using X, be careful, the operator decided on November 10 to change its plans.

Orange adopts Meta to help its customers

The announcement was notably made on the criticized Elon Musk’s social network. Under cover of a vague message, “Our messaging is evolving on“, Orange and Sosh announce that advisors will now respond elsewhere. To obtain help or advice, you will now have to go through one of Meta’s solutions, namely the instant messaging service Messenger or the messaging part of the social network Instagram.

If we note the absence of Meta’s social network competing with X, Threads, or the very popular instant messaging WhatsApp, the opening to Messenger (and indirectly to Facebook) and Instagram should greatly popularize this contact solution. Twitter at the time was already little used by the general public, and since its transformation into X the number of users has only declined, prompting Orange to find another solution. However, these new solutions still require you to have an account with Meta to be used.
