Ouigo trains, gray card, interface… France Identity has a new beta version that changes the situation

Mid-June, the France Identity application added, via a beta update, the expected Gray cards support. A few days later, a new beta is available to improve and enrich the experience before a more global deployment. Let’s see what it brings and how to take advantage of it now.

France Identity ever more complete and practical

First of all, this new iteration corrects an embarrassing bug of the previous one. If you had not managed to import the gray card of your moped, this concern is normally of ancient history.

Then, a new button within the home page allows you to enjoy a slightly more airy display of its different digital cards. The latter (two for the moment, driving license and registration certificate) are piled up and grouped by default.

Finally, the most important addition concerns trains. Since January 2025, in incredible trains and intercités it is already possible to Justify your reservation with a controller through the France Identity Application. With this new beta, the Ouigo trains join the party.

To reach the beta (if there are places left), it’s simple. Direction Testflight For iPhone and Play store For Android. All that remains is to download the France Identity app or to update it if you already had it, the new features will now display it.

The most patient will probably have to wait a few more weeks or months to see these changes arrive in the consumer version.
