Since Monday, June 16 at the end of the morning, SFR is the victim of a massive breakdown in Franceboth in terms of optical fiber and its mobile network (calls, SMS and Internet). After a confirmation of the operator by the operator around 2 p.m., who always declares to work for his resolution even if the situation seems to be slowly returning to normal to believe the drop in reports on the Down Detector site, several organizations have nevertheless made a very important instruction at the start of the afternoon: in an emergency in a context of network failure, it is not necessary to deal on 18, but 112.
We inform you that a technical incident is currently impacting our network. Our technical teams are fully mobilized to restore the situation. We ask you to apologize for the inconvenience caused.

In the event of an emergency without a network, make up 112
For the record, 112 is the emergency number valid in the entire European Union to contact firefighters, Samu or Police. It can be composed from any type of phone, without credit, and is not affected by network failures. Unlike 18 (or 15), since calls to this issue are supported by the treatment center for the firefighters, which receives calls for the whole department.

Pending a complete recovery of the SFR network and an indication concerning the reasons for the breakdown, therefore think of 112. This advice applies with other operators, but also during travel outside of France.
