Panasonic Z95B: Is the best 2025 TV already there?

We had seen the new Z95B of Panasonic at CES and the Japanese manufacturer has just unveiled all its characteristics, as well as all its OLED and MINI-LED ranges.The Z95A From last year was excellent, but this Z95B promises to be much better thanks to several flagship technologies. Overview of the new features to wait this year with the Japanese manufacturer.

An image quality that promises to be exceptional

On the Z95B, we will find in particular a RGB tandem oled panel with LG Display that we have already been able to test on the LG G5, and which is supposed to offer a luminous peak up 40 % on this model-a gain which brings the OLED of the performance of the best mini-LEDs on the market. Added to this is the thermalflow cooling system, a house innovation which could make it possible to reach an even higher brightness than on the G5 which already peaks at 2,300 cd/m².

The Z95B also incorporates Dolby Vision, and a Calman certified mode for the most expert users, enough to delight as much image professionals as moviegoers. Panasonic has in any case accustomed us to an exceptional calibration and we hope that this will also be the case this year.

A redesigned sound system, signed Technics

On the audio side, Panasonic does not do things by half each year on its high-end, and the Z95B has a system composed of front, lateral speakers, and oriented upwards for a spatial restitution which promises to be impressive. All the design of the audio part has been redesigned and the vertical speakers were moved from the center to the sides for better spatialization.

The bass was also reinforced thanks to a 30 W Woofer, a notable improvement compared to the previous model which was already very good in this area. We were able to listen to the result during a demonstration and for a television, the result is excellent, and we look forward to seeing it at work in our lab.

Fire TV and effective gaming

Panasonic continues its collaboration with Amazon Fire with a complete integration of Fire TV, allowing quick access to a host of applications. The Z95B does not neglect gamers either with a cooling rate at 144 Hz, a G-Sync and Freesync Premium compatibility, and a low latency, enough to play in good conditions.

It will be available around the month of July in 55, 65 and 77 inches, but Panasonic has not yet revealed the prices of these different models, even if we can expect prices similar to those of the Z95A (around 4000 € for the 65 “when it was released).

Z90B and Z80B: more affordable OLED alternatives

In addition to the Z95B, Panasonic also launches the Z90B and Z80B series, which still in OLED, while lowering the entry ticket. These models will be placed directly in front of the LG C5 and B5 in particular since they have the same slab.

The Z90B, includes an OLED panel of course and the same HCX Pro AI MK II processor as the Z95B. He also benefits from Dolby Vision IQ, a Subwoofer 30W and a Dolby Atmos audio system for a convincing home cinema experience. It is also calibrable and designed for the game with all the features that are expected on this side: HDMI 2.1, VRR up to 144 Hz, G-Sync, Freesync Premium. It will be available from 55 to 77 inches.

The Z80B, on the other hand, is positioned as the entry -level model of this OLED 2025 family. It offers slabs up to 65 inches with a 4K HDR Dolby Vision image while enjoying Fire TV, an integrated subwoofer, HDMI 2.1, VRR at 120 Hz. It is a good option to discover the OLED without exploding its budget, just like the LG B5.

With the Z95B, Panasonic intends to remain a reference in the high -end Oled universe, but it remains to be seen how it will position itself in the face of fierce competition lg,, Samsung or TCL and its mini-LED XXL. Given the technical sheet and the services offered, it could in any case easily become the best television of the year, but we will check all this this summer at the time of the tests this summer!
