In 2024, Polar released the Grit X2 Pro, intended for outdoor sports. Today, the Finnish manufacturer offers a perfect light version for small wrists. The new model is then equipped with a 44 mm dial, against 48 mm for the pro model. On the scale, the connected watch gains a few grams, to reach the 39 g without bracelet.

Who says more compact housing, supposes weaker battery. Indeed, Polar makes concessions and goes from a battery of 488 mAh to one of 310 mAh. Undeniably, the Grit X2 loses independently, without having to be ashamed in the face of certain competitors. It would hold 7 days and 30 hours in GPS mode activated before having to be loaded again.

High -end characteristics

Apart from these few differences, the two models are very similar. The Grit X2 is equipped with a beautiful AMOLED screen, with a display of 416 x 416 px.

On the sports performance side, the connected watch can make an electrogrammedogram. It is also able to raise the oxygen level in the blood, body temperature and heart rate – thanks to a 4th generation sensor.

For outdoor sessions, the thriller relies on its double frequency GPS and color cards. Some are available in line. On these cards, the user can find points of interest and the altitude of the routes.

Available in black or brown, the Polar Grit X2 is already available. It earns € 300 compared to the pro version, to reach € 479.99.
