Pope Francis’ death: Where to see the film Conclave with Ralph Fiennes in streaming?

Pope Benoît XVI, whose real name is Jorge Mario Bergoglio, died on Monday April 21, 2025 at the age of 88, after 12 years at the head of the Catholic church. When all the most powerful leaders of the Catholic Church are united and locked in the Vatican, Lawrence finds herself at the center of a conspiracy and discovers a secret that could forever change the religious institution.

Director Edward Berger (To the west nothing new) Adapts the eponymous novel by Robert Harris and signs an atypical thriller, visually remarkable and in an unprecedented setting: the conclave, a highly symbolic moment and the election of the new pope.

Intrigues of corridors, double games, maneuvers, revelations … All the ingredients at Agatha Christie are present and skillfully dosed for a story taking, served by a casting at the top, the excellent ralph fiennes (Harry Potter,, The menu) at the head.

Conclave received more than 300 nominations and 70 prices since its release, including four Bafta, the Golden Globe for the best scenario and the Oscar for the best suitable scenario.
