Remember, just a few days ago we informed you of a new scandal at Vinted, reported by L’Informé. In a few words: some articles link to pornographic content.

Under the cover of advertisements for lingerie or swimsuits, they display suggestive photos which redirect to paid accounts on Instagram, Telegram or Mym, selling erotic or pornographic content.
These sellers introduce themselves as “Vinted Queens” and explain that it is a way to “ make ends meet “. Even though Vinted’s policy prohibits the promotion of sexual services, the phenomenon persists despite the reporting tools in place.
Today, the case took a new turn since it was reported to theArcom by the High Commissioner for Children.
Arcom is asked to investigate the announcements pornographic from Vinted. Sarah El Haïry, interviewed on France 3, warns of the misuse of Vinted by certain sellers who use advertisements for banal objects to sell adult content.
The sellers don’t even hide. After a simple message asking for information on the article, the person in front suggests that you move up a gear by redirecting you to X platforms.
Vinted’s response
Contacted by AFP, Vinted replied having “a zero-tolerance policy regarding unsolicited communications of a sexual nature or promotion of sexual services” and take these situations very seriously.
“According to our catalog rules, the promotion of sexual services is prohibited“, continued the company, which in 2023 had more than 23 million registered members in France.
