Predator Badlands: a first epic trailer for the next film in the saga

Following the success of Prey In 2022, director Dan Trachtenberg was back in order from another film of the franchise on the Yautja: Predator: Badlands. This new opus has just revealed itself in a first trailer that shows the famous extraterrestrial in a different light.

New look for a new predator

Predator: Badlands tells the story of a young Predator (Schuster-Koloamatangi) excluded from his clan which “Find an unlikely ally in the person of Thia (Fanning) and undertakes a trip to hostile territory, looking for the ultimate opponent.”

So direction a distant planet in this next franchise film Predator carried by her Fanning (A perfect stranger) and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi (Red, White and Brass).

The trailer below lets glimpse an ambitious film with breathtaking cinematography, but above all a predator which does not quite resemble those that we have seen before in this saga initiated in 1987.

The most attentive fans will notice in these images that the character of Thia could make the bridge between the franchise Predator and that ofAlien : an image shows his eyes to confess himself in the manner of those of Andy in Alien: Romulus. Would she be an android like him?

In addition, the presence of the Weyland-Yutani company logo suggests that the two franchises will once again cross and some fans even think that Predator: Badlands could set up the basics of a new film Alien vs. Predator.

Expected on November 5 in dark rooms, this film 20th Century Studios is produced by John Davis, Dan Trachtenberg, Marc Toberoff, Ben Rosenblatt and Brent O’Connor.
