Thin and light despite its large, comfortable format, the high-performance multimedia laptop Acer Aspire 17 A17-51M-73WS is very suitable for processing thanks to its Core i7-13620H Intel Raptor Lake hybrid processor and its large amount of 32 GB RAM. Equipped with fast SSD storage with a high capacity of 1 TB, this Ultrabook equipped with a 17-inch Full HD IPS anti-reflective screen sports a discreet dark silver design. This Windows 11 laptop also has a backlit keyboard as well as Thunderbolt 4 USB-C and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity.

With its relatively thin and light 17-inch dark silver design, this laptop has an elegant and discreet appearance.
This laptop PC has good connectivity including 1 very fast USB-C Thunderbolt 4 in addition to 2 practical USB 3.0 for connecting various peripherals, an audio port, an HDMI video output useful for easily connecting it to a TV or a monitor for example but also Wi-Fi 6E ax and Bluetooth 5.3 modules for wireless remote connections and communications.
In the dark and more generally when you have difficulty distinguishing the keys, you can activate the backlighting of the chiclet keyboard.
The Full HD screen adopts a 16:9 format very well suited to video playback, combined with IPS technology providing significant viewing angles, both horizontally and vertically.
Thanks to its anti-reflective coating, the screen also offers much better fluidity in a bright environment (e.g. outdoors) than a shiny panel while being more restful for the eyes during prolonged use.
Performance, autonomy of the Acer Aspire 17 A17-51M-73WS
The Acer Aspire 17 A17-51M-73WS is a thin and light high-performance, large-format multimedia laptop.
Demanding users will be pleased with the good overall power it provides.
Because it relies on a large amount of RAM of 32 GB – or 100% more than the average – as well as an Intel Core i7-13620H processor Raptor Lake featuring 10 hybrid cores and an Iris Xe graphics solution.
This duo will particularly delight creators since it provides faster processing than 16/24 GB DDR4/5 as well as a classic Quad/Hexa Core for work requiring RAM and CPU resources using multi-core, such as photo editing or video editing.
Processing such as starts/stops, application launches and generally daily operation benefit from the great speed provided by the silent, energy-efficient SSD which helps to ensure that they are carried out quickly.
The SSD is all the more valuable as it offers a high storage capacity of 1000 GB, which is double what many models on the market offer, including – significantly – more expensive.
On the other hand, players will move on because no dedicated graphics card is on board here.
Please note, however, that thanks to the performance of the Iris Xe, you can still watch HD photos and videos as well as play light games.
As for the autonomy of this large format Ultrabook, it is around 6 hours on battery in light use. If it is not the most nomadic by nature, this computer may nevertheless be of interest to some wishing to equip themselves with a Student laptop 17 inches relatively thin and light with no need for a lot of battery life.
In any case, when it is pushed hard (eg: processing), expect this multimedia processing-oriented Ultrabook to heat up and make itself heard.
