PS5: Sony lets go – the slim, pro, controllers and psvr2 braded at prices that we will not see any time soon

The Days of Play come back for their 2025 edition, with a clear axis: decreases of tariffs visible on the equipment. The PS5 Slim loses € 100, the PS5 Pro finally displays a reduced price, and Sony extends its promotions to accessories and services. A short but effective window to renew its equipment at a lower cost.

PS5 Slim at reduced prices: a marked drop of € 100

Sony hits a big blow with a discount of € 100 on the two versions of the PS5 Slim. There PS5 Slim Standard with disk player switches to € 449.99, against € 549.99 before, while the PS5 Slim Digital Edition fall to € 399.99. This is the first time that these models have been offered at this price level, well below the end of last year.

These prices will be valid on all the usual channels: Amazon, Fnac, Micromania, as well as on the PlayStation Direct site.

PS5 PRO: A first discount since its launch

So far, the PS5 PRO had been spared by any commercial operation. This is no longer the case. During the Days of Play, it will be displayed at € 749.99, a discount of € 50 on the initial price. A moderate but significant reduction, especially for a product positioned on the high -end.

Accessories and services also concerned

THE PlayStation VR2 virtual reality headset Also has a drop: € 399.99 instead of € 449.99. The DualSense controllers go to € 54.99, a promotion already observed in the past but still welcomed.
