On the sidelines of the launch of SoundLink Plus portable speakers and SoundLink Micro (2nd generation), Bose reveals an update of its high -end headphones QC Ultra Earbuds. Knowing that the first of the name can easily be placed in the top 5 of the best headphones True Wireless From the market, the American manufacturer intends to go even further with this iteration. Inheriting from the design of their elders, ultra earbuds QC (2nd generation) would have significant advances in noise reduction and call quality.
Bose QC Ultra Earbuds (2nd generation): improved microphones and noise reduction
If the custom calibration technology is always there to adapt sound performance and noise reduction according to the hearing of the user, Bose proudly announces the introduction of its “Reduction of the quietest in-ear noircular“. The active system of ultra earbuds QC (2nd generation) would surpass that of their elders by a new AI algorithm improving the technology activates in Aware mode. Thanks to it, the headphones would gain in reactivity in the face of changes in intensity of surrounding noises and sudden noises, like those of the sirens or a passing train.
Bose also announces a better voice capture thanks to a new AI algorithm operating in concert with the 8 microphones of the headphones. We would therefore benefit from a more effective reduction in ambient noise, as well as better voice insulation, for more clarity during calls.
On the menu of improvements, we also note the introduction of aticular tips accompanied by a protective grid avoiding the accumulation of ceromen within the acoustic chambers. Their load case is equipped with a new wireless load system by induction, while the load duration was reduced to 4 hours, against 6 hours for first generation ultra earbuds QC.
Autonomy, connectivity and unchanged sound sound performance …
For the rest, ultra earbuds QC (2nd generation) take up all the characteristics that made the success of their predecessors. We can always count on a multipoint Bluetooth receiver compatible with the adaptive Aptx Codec, for a loss -free sound restitution from a compatible source, as well as on a fairly banal autonomy of 6 h for a single load. Bose space audio technology is also there, but it unfortunately seems to affect the battery life by reducing it to 4 hours.
Finally, note that Bose does not explain any improvement on the side of sound performance. Ultra Earbuds QC (2nd generation) could therefore adopt a signature identical to that of the first generation.
Ultra Earbuds QC (2nd generation) are already available in pre -order in black, white and plum finishes, at a price of € 299.95. During the price of € 349.95 to which the ultra earbuds QC had been launched, Bose remained rather reasonable. Note that Ultra Earbuds QCs are always available at a price of € 249.95. Thus, there is still an increase of € 50 which, we hope, will be fully justified by the optimizations provided.

In the wake of ultra earbuds QC (2nd generation), Bose completed its range of portable speakers with two new models. Placed between the SoundLink Flex and the SoundLink MaxSoundLink Plus adopts a whole new format. With a weight of less than 2 kg and dimensions of 231 x 99 x 86 mm, it aims to combine portability and sound power.
Unpublished in Bose, its sound architecture is articulated around a grave/medium speaker and a tweeter accompanied by no less than four passive radiators. It would therefore be able to offer an extension in the bass and an immersion worthy of more imposing models. The nomadic attributes are not to be outdone, with a waterproof design (IP67), rubber reinforcements allowing it to resist shocks and a side nylon strap facilitating its transport. Autonomy is for its part promised at 12 p.m., as much as the other speakers in the range.
Bose SoundLink Micro (2nd generation): Modernization of an aging bestseller
Evolution of the first name released in 2017, the SoundLink Micro (2nd generation) is back in a modernized version. Always characterized by its ultra portable format (103 x 103 x 39 mm), it promises higher sound performance thanks to a wide optimized strip speaker, accompanied by a pair of passive radiators. All-terrain, the SoundLink Micro (2nd generation) is equipped with an IP67 certification making it insensitive to immersions in water with dust, as well as a removable nylon strap. Of course, its connection is evolving with a USB-C load port, while autonomy goes from 6 to 12 p.m.
Finally, the two speakers of course inherit the features offered by the Bose App and the Simplesync chaining protocol. Connectivity level, they both equip themselves with a 5.3 Bluetooth receiver compatible with the Adaptive Aptx High Resolution Codec.
The SoundLink Plus portable speaker is already available for pre -order at a price of € 279 in anticipation of an outing on June 18, in black and blue finishes. The SoundLink Micro (Gen 2), on the other hand, planned for this summer, will be marketed at a price of € 119 in the same colors.
