RAZR 60 & 60 Ultra: We already know almost everything about the next folding Motorola smartphones
THE RAZR 50 And 50 ultra Having been announced in June 2024, we suspect that Motorola will soon present their successors. Folding smartphones should take the name of Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra, and the first of them delivers most of its technical elements, less than three months from its very likely announcement, thanks to the Tenaa listingsthe Chinese telecoms certification organization.
According to the tenaa lists, therefore, the Motorola Razr 60 promises to be quite close to its elder in terms of format. There is indeed a question of an internal screen of 6.9 inches, that is to say of the same dimension as that of Razr 50, and an external display of 3.63 inches, also of the same dimensions as that of its elder. The folding smartphone in the valve would also embark a photo block inherited from its predecessor, including a main sensor of 50 megapixels supplemented by a large angle, and a 13 megapixel module (ultra-angle).
Same screens, but more memory
Where would the differences are therefore, under these conditions? RAZR 60 promises to be equipped with a Dimensity 7400X chip, freshly announced by Mediatek; The choice seems logical, the 50 being provided with a Dimensity 7300X. On the other hand, a real novelty is emerging on the memory and storage side: the smartphone would be available with 16 and 18 GB of RAM, where its predecessor was limited to 12 GB of RAM, and with 1 TB of storage (against a maximum of 512 GB for the 2024 model).
Potentially a little more powerful and better armed to manage the multitasking, the smartphone would also benefit from a battery raised to 4500 mAh, a gain of 300 mAh. We can therefore hope for an increasing autonomy for this new device. Let us add that the Razr 60 Ultra also made a foray into the Tenaa site ; According to him, he too would keep the screens and photo modules of the 50 ultra, but would benefit from a battery of 4,500 mAh and an internal photo sensor carried from 32 to 50 megapixels and, above all, offered a Snapdragon 8 Elite of Qualcomm chip.
