While he looked very much like his little brother Southernthe space moves away at least momentarily by adopting a style closer to the latest productions of the brand. The front panel thus recalls that of the coupé SUV Gustthe new flagship of Renault, or that of the Grand Koleos, marketed on other markets.

The tailgate has been reviewed to make way for new optical blocks, again even closer to the manufacturer's latest productions.

The space takes care of its comfort on board and earns new equipment

Inside, on the other hand, the dashboard was not reworked. We only note the arrival of redesigned seats, reworked soundproofing and a new temperature sensor for air conditioning, all in order to improve comfort on board.

This restyled space also gains new equipment. For example, a camera is facing the driver. It allows you to recognize the latter, via profiles to record in order to find its personalized settings: “Favorite radio and media stations, driving position settings (electrical adjustments of the driver's seat and external mirrors), Google applications via the Openr Link system.” This same camera can also be used to monitor the driver's attention. Among the other new features, there is the appearance in the catalog of the solarbay panoramic roof, which makes it possible to object electrically.

Under its hood, the space renews its only Full Hybrid motorization of 200 hp, composed of a 1.2 TCE three-cylinder, two electric motors and a flashbox. The latter benefits from a new software management that promises “A permanent responsiveness, a better fluidity of gear passages and removes any feeling of inertia, especially during demo-down (kick-down on the accelerator pedal) or during recovery.” Recall that if this engine had seduced us with its efficiency, we indeed deplore a significant lack of responsiveness of the gearbox during our test.

This engine announces a mixed consumption of 4.8 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of 108 g/km (awaiting final approval). She therefore avoids the CO2 penaltywhich is now triggered from 113 g of CO2 per km. On the other hand, with nearly 1.7 t on the scale, the space had to pay a penalty penalty, but which can be reimbursed to large families.

The restyled space will be launched before the summer of 2025, still in five or seven places, and does not yet announce its new prices. You must currently pay from € 45,500 to afford the services of the family SUV.
