Renault is about to unveil its new Clio: this is what we know

If the spotlights are on the new electric R5 and R4, the real golden egg hen of Renault remains the Clio. The versatile thermal city dweller was still in the first place of new car sales in France in the first half of 2025, despite the advanced age of its fifth generation.

If the arrival of a new Clio is therefore no longer a media event as important as for its previous mills, the stake remains large for Renault while waiting for the rise of the electric vehicle market.

The diamond now announces the presentation of the sixth generation of its Clio, which will be observed on the brand of the brand at the Munich Salon. The appointment is given on September 8 at 5:30 p.m., the day before the opening of the show, and the presentation of this new Clio can be followed live.

Sweet developments

According to the first prototypes observed, the Clio 6 should make its style evolve gently with in particular a more fleeting line. Inside, one can imagine a dashboard close to that of R5 and R4 as well as the adoption of their infotainment system under Android Automotive OSwhose clio 5 did not have favors.

Technically, the Clio 6 should change the current CMF-B platform and receive new hybrid engines that have played an important role in the success of the current generation. Conversely, the diesel offer, whose clio was the last representative in its segment, should disappear.
