Among all the televisions we test at digital, Samsung is very regularly among the manufacturers offering the best products. However, a functionality sometimes offered elsewhere (at LG or Philips for example) lacks on OLED TVs of 2025 of the brand. Or rather, since Samsung decided to finally correct the shot and flirt with PC players with its high -end segment. You may have guessed, Nvidia’s G-Sync technology finally arrives.
NVIDIA G-SYNC arrives on certain Samsung televisions
If you use a PC with an NVIDIA graphics card on your high -end Samsung via HDMI TV, it is already possible to take advantage of the VRR (Variable Refresh Rate). But the arrival of official G-Sync certification should soon further improve the performance at stake.
For the record, this technology synchronizes the refresh rate with the Image frequency of the GPU, reducing images tears at a lower FPS cost than the V-Sync option. In short, a better image and better performance. What also benefit better from some of Samsung’s embedded technologies, including Motion Xcelerator, which supports refresh rates up to 165 Hz.
With the addition of NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility and our most advanced game functions to date, Samsung OLED 2025 televisions offer high-level performance, even to the most competitive players.
Samsung specifies that competing technology, AMD Freesync Premium Pro, is also on board for players with many models of graphics cards from AMD or Intel.
For the availability of Nvidia G-Sync, Samsung indicates that it will first be available, via an update, on the model S95F. The other models in the OLED 2025 range (S90F and S85F) will be affected later. It remains to be seen whether the less expensive models and 2024 will also have this chance.
