Samsung’s most successful folding smartphone gets its best price for Black Friday

It still represents a more than substantial investment. But if it is far from the reach of small budgets, Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 is nonetheless the best-positioned folding smartphone in the comparison of Digital. If it was made official from €2,099 in July 2025, Black Friday offers it its most advantageous price: several resellers are displaying it for the occasion at €1,499, like Fnac and Amazon.
After seven years of iterations with an almost unchanged design, Samsung has revised its copy for its 2025 generation: its Galaxy Z Fold 7 displays a slimness which not only allows it to compete with its direct competitors (the Honor Magic V5in particular), but also to pose as an alternative to more traditional monobloc smartphones.

The device measures 8.9 mm when folded, which does not prevent it from having an 8-inch interior screen and a 6.5-inch panel on the external side; both are well calibrated and very bright. Add to that a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, good endurance, a photo component to the refined 200 megapixel main module and a promise of updates for 7 years, and you have an excellent folding smartphone, reserved of course for an informed public.
Samsung is not alone on the Black Friday promotions front. Honor also offers preferential rates on its Magic V5a folding model that competes with the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The Chinese manufacturer chooses to charge €1,699 for it instead of €1,999, and offers its customers a host of gifts (MagicPad 2 tablet with its keyboard, screen protectors). If, however, the slate does not interest you, Boulanger and Fnac are offering an additional €200 reduction on the price of €1,699 displayed on their site. Suffice it to say that the regulatory price for premium folding smartphones is set!
