The release of the second and last season of Sandman is fast approaching, so it’s time to Netflix to put the mouth water from the fans of the series inspired by the eponymous comics of Neil Gaiman. A trailer has just been put online and suggests a passage to hell and dragons.

The return of the sandman

After an intriguing first teaser, the Season 2 of Sandman is revealed a little more. We can thus see that she is marked by the return of flagship characters of the series, such as Lucifer (Gwendoline Christie), Lucienne (Vivienne Acouampong) and Matthew Le Corbeau (Patton Oswalt) but also by the arrival of new protagonists Whether fans of the comics are looking forward to seeing in the flesh: Puck (Jack Gleeson), Orpheus (Ruairi O’Connor), Loki (Freddie Fox) or the rest of the infinite as destruction (Barry Sloane), Delirius (Esmé Creed-Miles) and destined (Adrian Lester).

These eleven new episodes (broadcast in two volumes) will see dream (Tom Sturridge) “Make a series of impossible decisions to try to save his kingdom, the awakened world and himself of the consequences of his past misdeeds. To redeem himself, he must face long-standing friends and enemies, but also gods, monsters and deadly.”

These are not only the stories of the comics Mist season And Brief lives who will be at the heart of this second season, but also many others including The benevolent,, Sandman: openingor Tales in the sands.

Volume 1 of this season 2 arrives on Netflix on July 3, while volume 2 will be on the streaming platform on July 24. A bonus episode featuring the dream sister, dead (Kirby Howell-Baptiste), will then be posted on July 31.
