Shock at Tesla: Model S and X disappear from Europe, end of reign for two electric icons

While Europe represented one of the last bastions of these two emblematic vehicles, Tesla has just removed the possibility of ordering a custom model or model. From now on, only a few copies in stock remain. A strategic choice which owes nothing to chance, and which probably signs the end of a key chapter in the history of the brand of Elon Musk.

Tesla discreetly buries its models and x in Europe

It is without drum or trumpet that Tesla has changed its European sites: no more models or Model X can be configured there. Only vehicles in stock, increasingly rare, remain briefly accessible … before extinction. This withdrawal only confirms what many feared: the two models are no longer a priority.

After stopping the driving versions on the right in 2023-abandoning the United Kingdom, Japan and Australia-Tesla had already ceased production for China in early 2024. Europe falls today. It only remains the United States and Canada to host these dinosaurs of the Musk era.

The irony is that these two models have long embodied Tesla’s technological excellence. The Model S had pulverized the standards of autonomy, the Model X had established itself as the high -end electric SUV par excellence. But times have changed, and competition has been organized. While the Model becomes a world cash machine there, S and X lift in the “Other model” category of quarterly balance sheets.
