It didn’t take long: barely more than 24 hours after the start of its broadcast on Netflixthe new animated series Splinter Cell: Deathwatch has already been renewed for a season 2 by the streaming giant.

The announcement was made by Ubisoft via his social networksand by revealing a new poster for the show showing the characters of Sam Fisher and Zinnia Mckenna on a mission. Check out the poster below:

Created by Derek Kolstadt (John Wick, Nobody), the series Splinter Cell: Deathwatch sees the return of famous agent Sam Fisher twelve years after his last adventure as he returns to service when an injured young agent asks him for help.

Produced by the Franco-Danish studio Sun Creature (for the pre-production part) and the French studio FOST, Splinter Cell: Deathwatch is co-directed by Guillaume Dousse and Félicien Colmet-Daagé, and can count on the voices of Liev Schreiber, Kirby Howell-Baptiste and Janet Varney in the original English version.

The animated series marks the first adaptation of the famous video game franchise created in 2002 by Ubisoft, which tells the story and missions of Sam Fisher, special agent of the American NSA. The latest game, Splinter Cell: Blacklistwas released in 2013.

Season 1 of Splinter Cell: Deathwatchavailable since Tuesday, October 14 on Netflix, will therefore be supplemented with eight new episodes, the broadcast date of which has not yet been specified. The Digitals will obviously keep you informed.
