Here we are: the great adventure of Stranger Things is coming to an end. One of Netflix’s iconic series is bowing out at the end of the year with its fifth season. The conclusion of this phenomenon, which began in 2016, is set to be epic, memorable and particularly intense for our heroes.

How many episodes does the final season of Stranger Things ?

As a reminder, this final season of the series takes place during the fall of 1987, while the town of Hawkins is still healing its wounds following the opening of the fault lines which occurred in season 4.

The hunt for Vecna is on and our heroes have only one obsession: to eliminate her. But the danger is twofold: not only is Vecna untraceable and her plans mysterious, but the government has placed the city under martial law and is relentlessly tracking Eleven, reducing her to a clandestine life. As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance looms, the final battle brews, bringing with it a dark threat of unprecedented violence.

Season 5 of Stranger Things includes a total of eight episodes, varying in length. We also know the titles of these episodes, as well as their exact durations:

What is the release schedule for season 5 of Stranger Things ?

Please note, unlike Netflix’s usual distribution system (the famous “binge” format), the episodes of this season 5 are not made available all at once.

They will thus be distributed on the platform in several distinct parts, as is the case for the streaming giant’s event programs (The Crown, The Witcher, Wednesday…).

Thus, season 5 is divided into three “volumes”, of which here are the official broadcast dates in France on Netflix:
