Ted Lasso (Apple TV+): the future season 4 is revealed with first images

Fans of Ted Lassoyou were right to believe it! There Season 4 of the award -winning comedy ofApple TV+ Finally prepares and its shooting has just started in Kansas City, a city of origin of Jason Sudeikis, alias Ted himself. Apple even announced the news with great fanfare with a short video showing the return of several flagship characters in the series.

A new chapter for Ted and Company

At the end of season 3 of Ted Lassothe football coach returned to live in Kansas. It is therefore not surprising that the shooting of the series goes through this corner of America before returning to London.

In season 4, Ted Lasso will indeed return to AFC Richmond, this time “To take up the biggest challenge in his career: to train a second division women’s football team,” explains an official synopsis.

“Throughout the season, Ted and the team learn to act before thinking, taking risks that they would never have thought of taking one day.”

Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Jeremy Swift and Brendan Hunt are resuming their respective roles for this new season, and according to Deadline They would have all signed three -year contracts, thus suggesting that the new chapter of the adventures of Ted Lasso will extend on three seasons.

But who says new team also says new casting, and they will therefore be joined by Tanya Reynolds (Sex Education), Jude Mack (Back in Action), Faye Marsay (Adolescence), Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey (Jurassic World 3: The world after), Abbie Hern (My Lady Jane) and Grant Feely (Kenobi Obi-Wan), who will play Henry, Ted’s son.

The fact that a new actor plays this role, which was embodied by Gus Turner in seasons 1 to 3, would be due to the fact that he is now necessary that his interpreter is himself a solid football player, Ted’s son having gone from a fan with an accomplished sportsman since the last time he appeared on the screen.

Still according to Deadlineit is possible that some of the players of the male team of AFC Richmond seen in the first three seasons of the series, such as Phil Dunster (Jamie Tartt) and Cristo Fernández (Danny Rojas), pass a head in season 4 as guest star.

Behind the scenes, Jack Burditt (Nobody Wants This,, Modern Family) joins the fourth season as a delegate producer, as part of a new agreement with Apple TV+. Sudeikis, Hunt, Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee, Bill Wrubel, Bill Lawrence, Jeff Ingold, Liza Katzer and Goldstein are also delegated producers.

Goldstein is also a screenwriter alongside Leanne Bowen, Sara Walker, Phoebe Walsh and Julia Lindon, while Dylan Marron occupies the position of editorial manager. Most of them have already worked on the series before.

Apple TV+ has not yet announced a launch date for season 4 of Ted Lasso But the start of its shooting this month makes us want to believe in a broadcast during 2026. In the meantime, the first three seasons are to be reviewed on the Apple streaming service, whose offer is available via Canal+.
