Tesla always works on the roadster with an acceleration technology never seen
The technology described in this patent could allow the Tesla Roadster to reach a record acceleration. As a reminder, the announcement of this supercar dates back to 2017 with the promise to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.9 seconds.

Tesla invents an unprecedented acceleration for the roadster
Except that since then, fans of the brand have forgotten this announcement and only have one thing: delays. Especially since this acceleration is no longer new since the Model S plaid reaches 100 km/h in 1.99 seconds for less than $ 100,000.
In February 2024, Elon Musk said Tesla had “radically enhanced the design objectives” Roadster. The billionaire explains that no car will look like the supercar because the goal is even more ambitious: going from 0 to 100 km/h in less than a second. As always, Elon Musk added a promise on the promise by explaining that it is about “The least interesting aspect” vehicle.
Tesla’s new patent shows an active multimode aerodynamic system that uses deployable fans and skirts to generate controllable support. Technology optimizes the grip and vehicle performance in all conditions, both on a circuit and on a dragster track.
Tesla describes its technology in this way: “The device works by creating regions delimited under the vehicle thanks to the selective deployment of skirts interacting with the ground surface. Fanteurs positioned in air conduits extend to these regions, generate low pressure by extracting air, creating support that improves the grip and stability of the vehicle.”
To put it simply, with an area perfectly delimited under the roadster, Tesla will offer optimal grip during brutal accelerations. The handling in turn would also be improved, which is essential if Tesla wants her roadster to reach records on circuits like the Nürburgring where the Xiaomi Su7 Ultra distinguished itself.
Technology therefore uses fans to suck up the air under the vehicle, an approach that is very different from current solutions that depend solely on the speed and shape of the body.
With this patent, Tesla tries to refine its roadster that many are waiting to deliver the sole promised supercar. The discovery of this patent may make the brand’s most impatient fans speak on future capacities of this model … So of course, it is born.
