Cooking is now meant to be simple, quick and hassle-free. According to an OpinionWay study carried out in September 2025 for Philips, 79% of French people, and even 85% of 25–34 year olds, consider that the airfryer makes meal preparation easier. A figure revealing a change in the way of cooking: the French are looking for effective solutions without sacrificing taste.

More than one in two French people (56%) believe that household appliances take up too much space, a feeling that is even stronger among 18–24 year olds (64%). In this context, airfryers – compact and multifunctional – meet a growing expectation: to do better with less.

In terms of use, 46% of those questioned believe that the airfryer promotes healthier cooking, while 39% praise its speed and 37% its low energy consumption. Efficiency would not come at the expense of taste: 73% of users believe that the device preserves the flavors and texture of food, an opinion shared by 81% of 25–34 year olds.

The Airfryer is part of a new vision of cooking: inventive, controlled and uninhibited. It becomes a daily companion, serving creativity and pleasure.

The study also shows an inspiring effect: 69% of users say that the device gives them new recipe ideas, and 63% that it facilitates batch cooking, this method which consists of preparing several meals in advance.

Faced with this enthusiasm, Philips offers its device in several versions, such as the Double Basket Series 5000 (€259.99), combining steam cooking and hot air, the Vertical Duo Series 4000 (€269.99), designed for small spaces or the Double Basket Series 1000 (€149.99) which incorporates a removable wall to offer a choice of two small cooking spaces or just one with a larger capacity.
