The Apple Store will apply the repair bonus: how does it work?

For a product to be eligible, it still has to meet some criteria.

• No longer be covered by the warranty or additional insurance
• Be bought and held by a household (not a business)
• Comply with CE standards (no questionable counterfeit or import)
• That the breakage prevents the operation of the device

Which devices are eligible?

The devices that will be eligible within the Apple Store should a priori be:

• IPhone up to 25 €
• Display studio, PRO Display and other screens up to € 30 (for repairs exceeding € 100)
• IMACs, Mac Mini and other fixed computers up to € 50 (for repairs exceeding € 150)
• MacBook and other laptops up to € 50 (for repairs exceeding € 150)
• IPads up to € 25 (but not for screen breakages)

Note all the same, the bonus only applies if the invoice is greater than the amount covered or, in some cases, from a certain threshold by mounting tax. It is also not possible to take advantage of it if you buy parts and repair yourself. A software maintenance act is not covered by the bonus either.

What are the guarantees

The repairs carried out on a device covered by the bonus are guaranteed at least three months “under normal use of equipment“.
