The electric SUV byd atto 2 goes under 25,000 € thanks to a significant discount

Byd is perceived as one of the Chinese manufacturers most likely to invade Europe with its electric cars. However, the brand’s strategy on our market is sometimes incomprehensible, not to say completely absurd.

While some Chinese manufacturers manage to break the prices, such as SAIC with MG – despite the sanctions of the European Union, Byd seems not to want to play the game of the lowest, confident that the qualities of its cars are enough to seduce customers.
At the beginning of the year, at the launch of the ATTO 2, a electric city SUV which seems cut for Europe, we however not noted an incomprehensible positioning. Despite its wealthy autonomy of 312 km and slow charge times, Byd offered it from € 29,990, more expensive than some of its European rivals. Since then, the brand has even went so far as to increase the prices of its city SUV by € 3000, bringing its entry ticket to € 31,990.
The attot 2 finally becomes competitive
BYD is now coming back to reason with an immediate discount of € 7,000 on the entry -level active version of its Atto 2, launched just a few months ago. His price therefore falls at € 24,990, probably at the level at which he should have been initially launched. As standard, this version already offers a panoramic roof, a reversing camera or even electric settings for the front seats.
As a comparison, the Citroën Ë-C3 Aircrossmore spacious but less well equipped, costs from € 27,400. However, it is eligible for the boost electric vehicles up to € 4,242, depending on income conditions. The Renault 4 E-Tech starts at € 29,990, but it is also eligible for this aid to which the Byd Atto 2, produced in China, cannot claim.
