The future Dexter series: Resurrection brings these two actors back between the dead

With a title including the word “resurrection”, it is not surprising that the new series derived from Dexter bring back the dead to life.

Our colleagues from Deadline tell us that the Trinity killer and Miguel Prado, embodied by John Lithgow (The Crown,, Conclave) and Jimmy Smites (Sons of Anarchy,, Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi) will be in the cast of Dexter: Resurrection… Despite the fact that they were both died in the mother series.

A sparkling distribution

The shooting of Dexter: Resurrection Has started last January in New York and since then, the series has only added new heads to its distribution. In addition to Michael C. Hall, who of course takes up the role of Dexter Morgan, and of the two actors mentioned above, this suite indeed promises the beautiful world.

Actors seen in Dexter and in New Blood are also in the casting, including David Zayas (Angel Batista), Jack Alcott (Harrison Morgan) and James Nom (Harry Morgan).

Regarding Smits and Lithgow, the characters of Miguel Prado and Arthur Mitchell (alias the Trinity killer) were both killed by Dexter in seasons 3 and 4 of the original series. We do not know exactly to what extent they will be present in Dexter: Resurrection But as lithgow appeared during flashbacks in Dexter: New Bloodit may be that the new series follows a similar formula to bring the dead back to life.

Whether it is a question of hallucinations, memories or other, fans will have the clear heart next summer, when Dexter: Resurrection will be broadcast on Paramount+ across the Atlantic then on Canal+ In France.
