An ultra-bright Tandem Oled panel

The LG 65G5 inaugurated the new Tandem Oled technology, composed of four layers of superimposed organic diodes. The objective: to increase both the maximum brightness and the longevity of the panel. Mission accomplished since it reached a peak of 2330 cd/m², a record on Oled and a clear progression compared to the already excellent G4 of last year. The image gains in intensity, particularly in HDR, while maintaining infinite contrast, a total absence of blooming and extremely precise calibration, whether in SDR (delta E 1.8) or HDR (delta E 1).

The colors are faithful, the details perfectly rendered and the colorimetric coverage extensive (100% DCI-P3, 81.6% Rec.2020), which places the G5 among the best cinema references of the moment.

The “Gallery” design, intended for wall installation, remains one of the most elegant on the market, and the WebOS interface benefits from a new, more modern remote control, as well as a button dedicated to AI.
