The next generation Instax mini LiPlay takes center stage

For those who don’t yet know this instant camera offered by Fujifilm since 2019, the instax mini LiPlay+ is a 2-in-1 multifunction device combining an instant camera and a smartphone printer using instax technology. Available in two colors, sand beige and midnight blue, the instax mini LiPlay+ offers an elegant new design with a beautiful textured finish and a luxurious feel. Small in size, it measures only 83.3 x 125.5 x 38 mm and weighs 265 g with a 3-inch color LCD screen. On the photo side, the device is equipped with a main lens of 28 mm f/2 (Equ. 24×36) oriented towards the front (from 10 cm to ∞) as well as a wide-angle selfie lens of 28 mm f/2.2 oriented towards the rear (from 41 cm to ∞), the CMOS 1/5 sensor offering a definition of 2560 x 1920 pixels.

The instax mini LiPlay+ has a small internal memory to store around 45 images and includes a microSD card slot as well as a USB-C port which is only used for charging the device. The device is packed with filters, offering seven creative options from the timeless charm of sepia and black and white to the bold style of Vivid, Poster and Fisheye filters. If the Au Natural mode is suitable for most shooting situations, the device offers an instax-Rich mode offering a rendering of more vivid shades and an instax-Natural mode for cooler tones. The device also acts as an audio recorder and can record three-second audio clips, which can be listened to by scanning the QR code associated with the image on the print. The instax mini LiPlay+ will also be able to turn a set of images into personalized animated videos with sound, dynamic backgrounds and remarkable music.

The instax mini LiPlay+ is also a printer that can be used from the instax mini LiPlay application (IOS, Android) which will allow you to overlay text, stickers, apply filters and frames before printing. The application also allows you to control the device remotely via Bluetooth. The instax mini LiPlay+ uses instax mini films and will be accompanied at its launch by the new customized instax mini Soft Glitter film.

Price and availability

Available from October 30, the instax mini Liplay+ camera will be offered in sand beige and midnight blue at the recommended price of €219.99 including tax. The instax mini Soft Glitter instant film will also be available from October 30, 2025 at the recommended price of €9.99 including tax.
