The Paper: The suite of The Office is revealed in a fun first teaser

The rest of The Office is looming with a promising first trailer. In The Paperthere is no longer any question of following the employees of Dunder Mifflin, but the writing of a newspaper in difficulty led by a new editor -in -chief full of ideas embodied by Domhnall Gleeson.

The series will arrive on the streaming platform Peacock across the Atlantic on September 4 and, even if she does not yet have a French broadcaster, she promises to delight fans of The Office.

The return of a known face

As The Office,, The Paper is a “mockuarimental” (or “false documentary”) and the intrigue also puts the same team of documentaries as in the series with Steve Carell. This time, they decided to follow the employees of a small Toledo newspaper called The Truth Teller, and the editor-in-chief who hopes to restore his coat of arms.

Ned Sampson (Gleeson, seen in The patient) is new to the editorial staff and, according to the images below, he quickly realizes that volunteer journalists of this publication are far from being experts. Most of them have never written for a newspaper before.

But the Truth Teller team does not only contain novice grait-paper, because fans of The Office will recognize the former accountant of Dunder Mifflin Oscar Martinez (Once again embodied by Oscar Nuñez) among the employees, to the great setback of the latter when he notices the cameras of the documentary makers.

If Oscar is not delighted to be filmed again, the cameras will be able to turn to a gallery of new protagonists such as Esmerelda (Sabrina impaciatore seen in The White Lotus), Mare (Chelsea Frei, The cleaning lady), Detrick (Melvin Gregg, Nine Perfect Strangers), Adelola (Gbemisola Ikumelo, Black Ops), Adam (Alex Edelman, Unfrosted: the epic of pop-tart), Nicole (Ramona Young, My first times), Ken (Tim Key, Funny Woman), Barry (Duane Shepard Sr., The Eric Andre Show) and Travis (Eric Rahill, The Bear).

The series The Paper is created by Greg Daniels (already in charge of The Office) and Michael Koman (Nathan for you). Both are also executive producers alongside Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant (at the origin of the original and British version of The Office).
