The rings of power: Prime Video finally gives news from season 3

The shooting of the third season of the Amazon flagship series, The Lord of the Rings: the rings of powerstarted and Video premium turned to social networks to give news of his show with a teaser of the return of Sauron.

Season 3 takes place several years after the events of the second seasonwhile the war between the Elves and Sauron (Charlie Vickers) rages and he seeks to forge the unique ring which will give him the power he needs to win this conflict and finally conquer the land of the environment.

New heads will be added to the cast of this third season. Jamie Campbell Bower (Stranger Things) and Eddie Marsan (The Power) have joined the distribution in roles that are not confirmed, even if the rumor wants Bower to play Celeborn, the husband of Galadriel (Morfydd Clarke), and that Marsan slips in the guise of Durin’s brother (Owain Arthur).

Amazon MGM Studios also previously announced that Andrew Richardson (Extractalion), Zubin Varla (Andor) and Adam Young (Masters of the Air) are also in the casting of season 3, in roles for the moment unknown.

As the shooting of the series is currently on track, we can hope to see its new episodes of Power rings on the Amazon streaming platform in 2026. Patience therefore.
