The Simpsons soon returned to the cinema, the release date and a poster revealed

“Oh!” As the Simpsons’ patriarch would say. Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie will soon return to the cinema! Disney announced the release in 2027 of a second film in 2027 Simpsonsthus scheduled 20 years after the release of the first feature film on the Springfield family.

Simpsons in place of Marvel

Initially, it is a Marvel movie Untitled which was scheduled for an outing on July 23, 2027 in the United States. But finally, Disney decided to award this date to a new film Simpsons.

It therefore means that there will be no new marvel feature film at the cinema between the outings ofAvengers: Doomsday in December 2026 and Avengers: Secret Wars in December 2027.

We do not yet know what awaits Homer, Marge and Company in this second feature film, but a first poster was shared by 20th Century Studios.

The first film Simpsons was released in 2007 and was a broad success at the box office, amazing $ 536 million worldwide for a budget of 75 million. Discussions around a suite have taken place for years but nothing concrete had yet been announced until now.

Created by Matt Groening in 1989, the series Simpsons is the longest animation sitcom in the history of the small screen. She is currently in her 37th season and has already been renewed up to a 40 season which will be broadcast in 2028-2029.
