It has happened almost three years since its introduction into the MCU in the film Black Panther: Wakanda Foreverbut Riri Williams, a character recently introduced into Marvel comics in 2016, is finally almost ready to have his own series.

In any case, Disney+ has just unveiled the trailer for its next Marvel series, Ironheart. What to get a better idea of what awaits fans, perhaps a little remotivated since the success of Thunderbolts in the cinema.

When tech meets magic

In Black Panther: Wakanda ForeverRiri Williams (embodied by Dominique Thorne) was presented as a brilliant MIT engineer. From her internship in Wakanda, she obviously wants to create something iconic, and so why not compete with a certain Iron Man.

To achieve this, she will ally herself with the mysterious Robbins Parker, aka “The Hood” (Anthony Ramos). A decision that she will obviously regret.

Created by Chinaka Hodge (screenwriter on Snowpiecer),, Ironheart is notably co -produced by Ryan Coogler, the director of Black Panther. Samantha Bailey (Dear White People) and Angela Barnes (Atlanta) take care of the realization.

A mini-series full of heart

The first three episodes of Ironheartout of a total of six, arrive on June 25 on Disney+.
