The adventures of Daryl and Carol will soon resume in season 3 of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. The spin-off series of The Walking Dead will indeed be back on our screens next September and is revealed now through a new teaser that smells good of Spain.

A season 3 under the Iberian Sun

Until now, all series derived from the franchise The Walking Dead broadcast in France on Paramount+as Daryl Dixon And The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Livewere offered on the streaming platform the day after their broadcast across the Atlantic on the AMC channel. In all logic, it therefore means that season 3 of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will arrive on Paramount+ on September 8.

In this new season, Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Carol (Melissa McBride) will continue their journey to return home via Spain. Indeed, as the synopsis of this season 3 points out, Daryl and Carol will deviate from their destination and arrive “In distant lands with changing and unknown conditions where they will witness the different effects of Apocalypse.”

The teaser below also suggests that between two fights with the zombies, the Spaniards always find time to party even in a post-apocalyptic world.

This new season will thus stage new characters embodied among others by Eduardo Noriega, óscar Jaenada and Alexandra Masangkay that can be seen in this teaser.

We do not yet know how Daryl and Carol will arrive in Spain since the end of season 2 saw them moving towards England, but the show’s showrunner, David Zobel, explained to Hollywood Reporter that, anyway, Daryl Dixon is a nomadic series.

“From the point of view of the story, the characters must not settle somewhere. The series must be on the road, they must continue to move to be able to return home,” explains Zobel. “At the end of season 2, they go somewhere. We don’t know exactly where but it is not a direct line to their next step. The idea of ​​the series is to move them forward, to continue to put them in difficulty and to see them fight to go home.”
