The Witcher: Netflix unveils the release date for season 4 and Liam Hemsworth in Geralt

The time has soon come to return to the continent! Season 4 of The Witcher is looming on the horizon and will arrive on Netflix at the end of October to introduce a new face in the guise of Geralt de Riv in the person of Liam Hemsworthwhich takes up the torch following the departure of Henry Cavill.

A little new blood

The adaptation of the books of Andrzej Sapkowski on the Witch continues on Netflix with season 4 of The Witcher And will conclude with a fifth season which has already been shot. These two seasons take up the intrigues of the books Fire baptism,, The Hirondelle tower And The Lady of the Lake.

Season 4 will arrive on Netflix On October 30 and his new witcher, Liam Hemsworth (Hunger Games) reveals himself in a teaser plunging him into the fire of the action.

As we will have to get used to seeing Liam Hemsworth under the Geralt wig, the showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich invites fans to keep their minds open.

“Be present, be ready to be surprised, accept that things are different and know that the very essence of what you like is still there,” she said to Tudum.

“We also have this tremendous opportunity, halfway through the series, to revive it, to say: ‘things are different, we start with a fanfare, it’s more imposing and better than ever.'”

This season 4 is also an opportunity to meet new characters who are, for some, adored fans of books and video games The Witchersuch as the Barbier-Urigien Regis (Laurence Fishburne), the premium hunter Leo Bonhart (Sharlto Copley), the adviser and spy Skellen (James Purefoy) and the Dwarf Zoltan (Danny Woodburn).
