All major works start with small advances. The best possible illustration comes directly from the official Xbox blog: the game bar, or Game Bar for our English -speaking readers, offers a facade restoration upstream of a series of visual improvements provided for this week.

Accessible from the shortcut “Windows + G key”, or by pressing the Xbox button compatible on PC, the Game Bar displays a number of widgets contained in separate windows, allowing (among other things) screenshot, recording game sequences or monitoring resources and applications. Functional, it now gains in clarity with an aligned design with that of the Xbox application, but also in ergonomics with an improvement in controls via controller.

The Xbox ecosystem is preparing its Trojan horse

Changes that echo a small “flight” that took place earlier this week, straight from Microsoft. Noted by The Vergean illustration published on the official Xbox website allowed to glimpse the new interface of the Xbox application, provided for PC, living room consoles and laptops. We saw in particular a “steam” filter in the catalog of displayed games, which suggests a possible agnostic centralization between all the platforms, which could change the situation for portable consoles operating Windows (like the Rog Ally and the Legion Go S), and which suffer from the lack of ergonomics of the bone in this nomadic format.

Moreover, Microsoft also announces the arrival of new advantages for PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, with skins cosmetics and virtual currency for games like valurant, League of Legends and Call of Duty Warzone in the future. Finally, the Xbox Cloud Gaming streaming gaming service will soon allow the change of game on the fly, without having to return to the application screen. For the moment, only recent episodes of the saga Assassin's Creed are concerned, with a dedicated hub on the occasion of the release of Shadows.
