
These companies have dismissed employees for AI and they regret it bitterly

The premature adoption of AI is a disaster
Faced with these disastrous returns, business leaders are less inclined to consider that AI will replace human workers. The study shows uncertainty as to the impact of this technology on the workforce. About 38 % of officials are struggling to grasp the IA repercussions on their activity and 25 % do not identify vulnerable posts.
In 2024, 48 % of managers anticipated the replacement of employees by AI against 54 % this year. However, business leaders do not feel responsible for protecting staff against dismissals.
The CEO of Orgvue, Oliver Shaw, observes that the year 2024 was marked by investment and optimism. Businesses now discover that replacing employees with AI without entering the implications is disastrous. In a context of a global shortage of skills, referring the workforce without transformation strategy is imprudence.
As for the future, 47 % of companies fear uncontrolled use of AI by their employees. Four out of five are planning to train personnel in the adequate use of technology. And already 41 % have increased the training budget, 51 % have designed internal policies of use of AI and 43 % collaborate with external specialists.
Despite everything, 80 % of companies plan to invest even more in the AI in 2025 but 27 % of them still do not have a precise roadmap.
