This ecovacs robot intends to sneak everywhere (and clean it all)

THE K10+ And K10+ Pro De Switchbot are no longer alone on the small robots segment. Ecovacs recently launched the Deebot Mini. With a diameter of 28.6 cm, it is not quite at the level of the aforementioned models, but it is still much smaller than the majority of models on the market, rather around 35 cm.

Too bad: Ecovacs has not made so much effort on the thickness, another dimension of interest if you want to see your robot go under relatively low furniture. On this point, we will rather recommend Roborock models, such as the 10 and 10r Saros which are not more than 8cm high against 10 for the Deebot Mini. He should be able to easily sneak easily between the furniture feet and in the congested spaces. It also has the advantage of occupying little ground surface, especially since its station also offers contained dimensions: 32 (l) x 38.5 (p) x 40 (h) cm.

Obviously, this station could have been more compact by focusing on the load, but Deebot wanted to offer a full station. She takes care in addition to emptying the dust tank of the robot, washing and drying her mops in hot air and providing her with water to wash the floor.

The robot, moreover, is also very complete. Unlike the small Switchbot robot which offers a washing function as impractical as it is effective, the Deebot Mini can suck and wash the ground at the same time and its rotary mops suggest better results. It can also detect the carpets to avoid passing over it with its mop or increase its suction power if it does not have them and can count on a laser rangefinder to navigate the house.

Some limitations are still to be noted. The robot cannot take up its mop or remove them to suck the carpets, and it cannot humidify them on its own; He must return to his station. Ecovacs does not promise mountains and wonders for autonomy either, but the 2 hours announced should be enough to maintain the small areas to which the Deebot Mini is logically intended.
