To measure your internet connection, forget Speedtest and go to Orb
Everyone has one day encountered online performance problems on a site or an application. One of the first reflexes is then to go to the Speedtest or Downdetector sites to find out if the concern comes from its internet connection or the service concerned. The first of these two services, produced by Ookla, is 20 years old. It is probably for that, and therefore modernize the proposal, that the founder and former boss of Ookla, Doug Suttles, with Jamie Steven, launch Aujou orb today.
Orb: a more complete version of speedtest

The future of internet connection repair?
Usable without creating an account, Orb still allows you to use one to be able to find in the interface the live tests of several devices, even if they are not on the same network. Indeed, Orb continuously analyzes the quality of the Internet connection, when the Speedtest site is limited to a specific moment. Reactivity (LAG, in short), reliability (loss of packages, interruption of service …) and obviously speed (in download and upload) are thus scrutinized during the period of your choice, without harming the performance of the system.
The combination of these three variables, more complete and precise than on speedtest, then gives a score and easy information to understand.
