
Tootbus incorporates the TOOTIE IA into its mobile app, a multilingual vocal guide to visit Paris, London or Brussels
You may already know Tootbus, the tourist bus company that operates in several major European cities, such as Paris, London, Bath or Brussels. This subsidiary of the RATP group, via its RATP Dev branch, is now launching TOOTIE, its first tourist guide 100 % artificial intelligence.

Tootie, the tourist guide IA
Tootie is a voice assistant integrated into the Tootbus mobile application, capable of answering tourists in real time during their visit. This intelligent vocal chatbot is designed to support visitors in the discovery of European capitals, by responding to all their requests and adapting to their desires.
Over the course of the visit, Tootie,Tourist AItells the story of the emblematic places of each town. Thanks to geolocation, he suggests addresses corresponding to user interests and indicates the closest stations, stops or tourist points. In addition to offering good local deals, it offers a choice of 50 linguistic options for a truly personalized experience.

The Tootbus application, available for free on iOS and Android, allows you to use Tootie, even without a ticket, but in a limited manner: only five questions are allowed before a pass is necessary to continue.
Since its launch in July 2025, Tootie has been operational in the cities of Paris, London, Bath and Brussels, with extension projects to other European metropolises. Developed in partnership with Appsolute, The voice assistant uses voice recognition and language treatment to offer answers. No text messages is still possible.

Multilingual, Tootie offers more than 50 languages, including French, English, Spanish, German or Italian, for experience accessible to a large international audience. Its database, regularly updated, brings together cultural, historical and practical information.
However, despite its interesting features, Tootie does not yet completely revolutionize the tourism experience. Compared to more versatile tools like Chatgptwhich can provide wider, nuanced and creative and free responses, Tootie remains limited for the moment to its very specific use and limited by the paid questions system. For Tootbus customers on the other hand, it will be an excellent guide.
