Two days to recharge the Xiaomi SU7: should we worry about this delirious duration?

Xiaomi takes stock of recharging the SU7

The electric sedan has solid arguments, but some say that its recharging takes up to two days on AC -ENTS chargers. The Xiaomi Auto vice-president therefore seeks transparency as to the use of this model outside of China.

Li Xiaoshuang takes the example of a journey between China and Europe. In Central Asia, Russia and Ukraine, 70 to 80 % of charging infrastructure use local or European standards. The quality of the recharge for the SU7 is the same as in China. There is therefore no need for special equipment or adapters in these regions.

For other countries and long journeys on international roads, Xiaomi Auto vice-president clarifies the situation and explains that standard adapters are widely available and sufficient to ensure quality load at SU7.

Li Xiaoshuang recalls that recharge infrastructure is well developed in the world, but there are exceptions. Iran, Afghanistan and certain parts of Central and Southern Africa.

About the China-Europe road, Li Xiaoshuang talks about the availability of superchargers every 150 to 200 km between Kazakhstan and Russia. On the old continent, it is even better since there is a supercharger available every 20 to 50 km.

Xiaomi reassures potential customers

Since the infrastructure is well established, the Vice-President of Xiaomi is self-fulfilling therefore concerns about a fear of lack of autonomy and low access to recharge.

People who roll with the electric sedan worldwide are therefore reassured and it is possible to make long distances without major constraints. Recently, the manufacturer has embarked on the electric vehicle market with great success, at least in China.
