According to Mark Gurman, Visionos 3 will eliminate the need to perform manual gestures to navigate the interface of the mixed reality headset. The journalist explains: “Apple Inc. develops a functionality for its vision pro helmet which allows users to scroll through software with their eyes, aimed at improving the device with an innovative interface.”

Visionos 3 would sail with the eyes

Mark Gurman continues his revelations by evoking the stage of the development of this functionality: “The eye scrolling capacity is being tested in the context of Visionos 3, a next version of the operating system of the pro vision, according to people who know the subject. Already, the helmet allows users to navigate the software by looking at objects, then selecting them by pinching their fingers.”

Good news: this feature would not be limited to the owners’ applications of the Californian company. Mark Gurman specifies that “Eye scrolling will work in all Apple’s integrated applications on the pro vision, which costs $ 3,499, and the company is preparing a means for developers to integrate this technology into their own software.”
