Watchos 26: The Apple Watch evolve, but without making their revolution

Watchos 26 was clearly not the show of the WWDC 2025. Tim Cook’s company has barely took just about ten minutes to present the new features on the Apple Watch. Interface, training, widgets, gestures, notifications … Here is the recap ‘!

Let’s go directly to the heart of the matter with the first novelty of Apple: a unified design between all Apple products in 2025, baptized Liquid Glass. Transparency, light and roundness games are there to reinvent the Watchos 26 interface.

Side features, the big more than this year is called Workout Buddy. It is simply an assistant designed to motivate users during their training. In addition to encouragement, this companion of theApple Watch Sharing data in real time such as rhythm, distance, calories burned or even the objectives achieved. The only downside: the functionality will only be available in English at launch.

The application Exercises Then is entitled to a sleek interface, a new organization and the automatic suggestion of music and podcasts, based on your previous listenings during your sessions.

On the side of the widgets, they evolve with the possibility of merge data from different applications to anticipate your needs according to your habits. Watchos 26 can even automatically suggest an application on your dial, thanks to an analysis of your routine allowing it to guess what you need at an instant T.

For notifications, their volume now adapts to the ambient sound level. It is also possible to ignore them by making a simple movement of rotation wrist backwards. It also works to cut an alarm or a call. Last point: the application Messages Introduce real -time translation of messages as well as the addition of personalized wallpapers for each discussion.

Watchos 26 is already available in developer beta, then arrives next month in public beta before bringing the final version to the start of the 2025 school year for the release of the Apple Watch Series 11 and Ultra 3.
