Recently, Waze has made it possible to launch a route from the screen of your phone, thus removing the obligation to go through the screen of your car when Android Auto is activated. A way to start a journey even more quickly, without bothering to type the location on the touch screen of your car or dictate it by voice.

This pop-up was seen by several users earlier this week, showing a massive rollout underway for users of Android smartphones and Android Auto-enabled vehicles.

Please note, this new feature also allows you to have the directions displayed directly on the screen of your Android smartphone, while the screen of your car only displays the map. A symbiotic operation which should appeal to a lot of seasoned drivers.
