Windows 11: Be careful if you install the system from an ISO, this security update is now essential

A clean installation of Windows is often the promise of a stable and efficient system. But inside these official ISO images – even freshly downloaded – sometimes hides a little -known defect: on -board security definitions can date from several weeks, or even more. Microsoft recognizes this openly, and now pushes an imperative update of the pack Microsoft Defender Before any installation.

Windows 11 and Windows 10: Microsoft requires Defender update before any installation

The safety of a system does not start after installing Windows, but during. • And recent security definitions, including attacks targeting Chrome, Firefox or Edge.

This precaution concerns all current versions of the system: Windows 11, Windows 10 (Home, Pro, Company) but also Server editions from 2016 to 2022.
