Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is an adventure rich in events that follows the adventures of an anonymous militiaman fighting to survive in a Dark Fantasy version of the end of the Han dynasty, where the demons torment the three kingdoms. The player faces dangerous creatures and enemy soldiers by fighting in the sword in a style inspired by the Chinese martial arts. He will have to overcome the obstacles encountered on the way by awakening the power buried in him.
Wo Long, which means “squatting dragon” in Chinese, also refers to an important hero or person who has not yet made known. This story will be that of officers who will eventually become heroes, and follow them during their “unknown” period. It will also be that of the ascent of a protagonist who has not yet made a name.
