XCOM® 2 is the continuation of the successful strategy game, XCOM: Enemy Unknown. The earth has changed and is now under the extraterrestrial yoke. While everything is against you, you will have to rebuild XCOM and launch a world resistance movement to regain control of the planet and save humanity.
• XCOM on the run: Take control of the Talion, an extraterrestrial supply vessel converted into XCOM mobile HQ. Thanks to the new gameplay, you can choose where to send your men, how to get the support of the population, and when to fight.
• Recruit fighters: with five soldier classes and their own skills, create soldiers adapted to your strategies.
• Tactical battles: The new gameplay system offers new possibilities in combat. Conseminate to stretch an ambush with enemy patrols, and collect powerful artifacts from their corpses and artifacts. Protect VIPs and save your wounded comrades by transporting them to an extraction point.
• New enemies: find very varied enemies, including new extraterrestrial species and members of the Advent organization, responsible by extraterrestrials to have their law reign, for an unprecedented tactical challenge.
• Study, develop, improve: configure and develop the talion to grant new capacities to XCOM agents on the Tarrain. Use your scientists and engineers to study, develop and improve your weapons and armor according to your needs.
• A multiplayer mode: form squads by combining human and extraterrestrial units and face other players on randomly generated cards.
