Xiaomi has just unveiled its new high -end tablet, the PAD 7 Ultra, equipped with a brand new chip developed internally, the Xring O1. This model is both efficient and elegant, with some interesting points to note.
The tablet has a large 14 -inch OLED screen, with a 3.2K definition and very fine borders. The Chinese giant announces a peak of brightness at 1600 cd/m², which should guarantee good visibility even in direct sunlight. Xiaomi has also planned treatments to reduce reflections, just to improve visual comfort.
Despite a battery with a capacity greater than that of the previous models (12,000 mAh against 8,850 mAh for the Pad 7 Pro and 10,000 mAh for the Pad 6s Pro), this new slate is thinner, with only 5.1 mm thick. On the other hand, it weighs almost as much as the PAD 6S Pro, with 609 g on the scale. On the recharging side, the device is compatible with the fast load at 120 W.
Under the hood, there is the new Xring O1 Soc, engraved in 3 Nm. He joined a 16 -hearted GPU, two very powerful CPU hearts, and an NPU 6 cores dedicated to artificial intelligence. This combination promises solid performance while maintaining good autonomy. Xiaomi announces almost 7 p.m. of continuous video reading and a long time in standby.
For the photo, there is an ultra-large 32-megapixel front-angle front camera and a single 50 mpx dorsal photo module. The sound is provided by eight speakers totaling 150 W, which should offer a correct audio experience.
The PAD 7 Ultra runs under Hyperos 2, the manufacturer’s interface, with a focus on multitasking and interoperability with the rest of the Xiaomi echoSystem. Available in two colors (black or purple), the PAD 7 Ultra is accompanied by a stylus and a keyboard with backlit and touchpaded keys, in order to offer an experience close to that of a mini laptop. Announced in China for the moment, the device appears at 5699 yuan, just over € 700 excluding taxes at the current exchange rate.
