Leboncoin goes to XXL delivery, everywhere in France
This is a first in France: a second -hand player offers a complete delivery solution for heavy or bulky products. Thanks to a partnership with Relais Colis, Leboncoin makes it possible to ship objects up to 130 kg or very voluminous (beyond 250 cm of linear developed), via two types of withdrawal points:
- Max parcel relay: for packages from 20 to 40 kg (and/or less than 250 cm)
- Drive parcel relay: for packages up to 130 kg (and/or more than 250 cm)
The price starts at € 19.49, with a progressive price depending on the weight and the volume. It is a decisive advance for the 6 million furniture announcements and the 2 million household appliances on the platform. From now on, these goods can circulate throughout France without going through a private carrier or a van rental.
On the experience side, nothing changes for the buyer or the seller: the XL delivery option is displayed during the finalization of the transaction. Payment remains secure – including via Apple Pay. Monitoring of the package is ensured, with notification at each stage. And above all, Leboncoin remains the intermediary in the event of a dispute, good news for some, less good for others.
