Dyson Cool CF1: an even more efficient and silent bladder fan arrives in June
Impossible not to recognize it! The Dyson bland fan, known in many references and released more than 15 years ago, is as iconic as an iPhone, as a PS One, as Vorwerk TM7 or a cybertruck. Awarded, at the time, by numerous design and innovation prizes, the AM06 inaugurated a new way of apprehending domestic ventilation by making it more attractive and safer than the antediluvian models with their huge noisy blades.
Well -present, but hidden blades
The genius is to have hidden the famous blades, vertically, in the foot of the fan. The air thus sucked is then propelled into the crown to be projected outside the latter thanks to the particularly studied attack profile and which is reminiscent of the wings of the aircraft. Thanks to this technology called Airmultiplier, Dyson was able to free itself from the huge blades to offer a powerful, relatively silent fan while being discreet and not to swear in a living room.

This test was a master stroke and the triumph of this atypical fan undoubtedly contributed to the development of the range of Dyson air treatment products. Today, the latter consists of fans, but also very sophisticated air purifiers such as the Purify cool formaldehyde.
Design we told you! © Dyson
The COOL CF1 Dyson seems to be a tribute to this glorious ancestor and it necessarily takes over AirMultiplier technology which has not changed much since its inception. It is essentially the pedestal that is up to date by now integrating an LCD display which indicates the selected mode and the propelled air flow (up to 370 liters of air per second promises us, which still seems a lot). The 10 speed levels are identical to those of the fan 15 years ago, but today we can choose one of the four oscillation angles (0 °, 15 °, 40 ° or 70 °) to concentrate the air flow or disperse it. Still in the foot, acoustics has been reworked to make the cool CF1 even quieter. A Helmholtz cavity (which could be compared to an active noise reduction system without electronics) has even been planned.
The Dyson Cool CF1 must be released at the beginning of June 2025. It will be necessary to spend € 275 to afford it.
